Stainless Rio Grande in 45-70. 100% function from day one. Good shooter with only 20 rounds fired. Scope rail removed but included. Skinner Peep Sight and Filler Screws installed. What did you refinish the wood with? Nice job BTW. I have looked at a LOT of Rossi's and have never seen a Stainless.

The Rio is a 336 clone with a few minor differences.
I have a Rio Grande in 30-30 Win.
The action was slicker with a much better trigger NIB than any Marlin I ever bought.
The accuracy of my Rio 30-30 is phenominal with 3-shots touching @ 100 yards.
For whatever reason the receiver of my Rio was full of cosmoline, dirt and machining grindings.
I had to strip the gun apart and clean the crud out of it.
You'd think they wharehoused them in a sewage lagoon.

**The quality of the guns is quite variable as there is not a lot of quality control at the Brazilian factory where they are made so check you gun out closely before finalizing the sale.

I thought it would sell quick.
It was an attractive and obviously well cared for firearm at a fair price.
Congrats to the new owner.
