I just got one for my .44 Mag...after much frustration and 9 months at the gunsmith with no promise date of when he could get to mine to fix the "dreaded jam", I read about the "new" carriers, retrieved my gun and did it myself...did you try Brownell's? I ordered a week ago, no problem, it came, I replaced, my rifle works. Good luck! Thanks, Marlinowners!
