I have one load with this bullet, H4350 50.6gr,Norma cases, CCI BR2; but was interested if anyone else had tried a different powder and got good results? Any of you Aussies loaded this long bullet in a 30.06?

I have loaded the "wood240" and the Hawk 250grs RN with up to 50,0grs(maxload in MY rifle) of Norma 204 powder in my 06´.
Used norma brass and cci 200 primers. Speed was around 710-720m/s.

Both bullets worked great(on hawgs and fallowdeer) for my short range hunting.
No pics of game downed by either because i didnt own a digicam at the time... makes me feel kinda like an "ol´phart" when writing like that ::).

Hey, you ain't 'stinkin" by yourself, I bought my first one when I signed up for Marlin Owners...Ha. I would use this heavy bullet for close range too, I like Woodleighs; my 35 Whelen Improved shoots the 310 sn just swell!
