What a great guy. I'll miss him.
Oh no! Wow, gonna miss talking to him! He introduced me to the Marlin Cowboys and the various calibers that I didn't know much about. Gave me a list of which cowboys to get for "long range" and for fun! I discussed which Sharps rifle to purchase as well some years back. He will be sorely missed by me and many others!

Wind was one of the most generous, humorous and helpful folks I ever had the chance to meet. I can truthfully say that my trip out West in 2015, though 3000 miles from NJ, meeting Wind was one of the highlights. BTW, during that trip I also saw Mt. Rushmore, the Badlands, etc. to keep it in perspective.
Here is another thought since we lost John Kort this year too. Can you imagine the fireams/reloading summit that John and Wind must be hosting together? Those heavenly coyotes better watch their step now that Wind and Cleat are re-united!

Was just thinking the other day, haven't seen any of his great posts in sometime. R.I.P Wind. Never met you, but I will miss you.
