Hey Reloaders,
I'll be loading the .35 Rem for the first time. I ain't new to reloading though, been loadin' rifle & pistol for years.

I've got some left over Varget I'll give a shot for the heck of it. I've heard IMR 3031 performs well in .35 Rem. What about WIN 748 in .35 Rem? Thanks,

Jim

Should work well, might want to try Reloader 7 also.

35 rem

33gns of RX7

Hornady 158gn XTPHP pistol bullet. I get good accuracy with these and they work well on deer giving pass through and large exit wound.

Varget worked real well for me. 200 grain Remington Corelokt over 39.5 grains of Varget. Didn't chrono it yet but pretty tight groups out of my 336LTD.

I've used Dupont IMR 4320 for my 16.25" barreled 35 Rem for years with good accuracy, temp insensitive, and good velocity. it works well, and I no longer experiement with loads for this rifle.

I have been pleased with 37.5 gr. IMR 3031, 200 gr. Rem. CoreLokt, CCI 200, and Rem. brass. That is safe and accurate, 1.25" for 3 shots @ 100 yds., in my 336 BUT approach from below in any other rifle.

My Chrony gave 2095 fps @ 15 ft. for six rounds of this load. At 100 yds. it shoots about 1.5" higher than Remington factory ammo in my gun.

I haven't settled on a standard load for 200 gr. bullets so I am happy to get the input above.
