I see a lot of comments about the Wild West Triggers being easy to install but their websight states gunsmithing is required.

Is there any fitting of the trigger that needs to be done or does the gun just need to be taken apart down to the trigger, trigger switched and re-assembled?

I want one, I just what to make sure what I am getting.

I went through all this debate a while ago. I bought one and put it in myself in about 15 minutes. No adjustment needed, instant light and crisp pull. Have talked to many others that have put their own in with no problems.

Just check the rifle after installation to make sure it won't fire on impact. I put a small piece of carpet on my wooden workbench, cocked the empty rifle and then bounced the buttstock firmly on the carpet several times to make sure the hammer wouldn't drop unintentionally. I've had no problem with hundreds of rounds through the rifle.

Now, if they were only a little cheaper, I'd have one installed in each of my Marlins..........
