I picked up a Marlin scope at an auction on Jul. 28. It was in a box with four others, nothing great.
I put it on a 336 30-30. It looks good on that 49 year old gun.
What I would like to know is, who made them, and what years were they made?

Looks strangely like an old USA Weaver...that's just a guess though. Does it show El Paso, TX or anything besides USA?

Someone told me once that Bushnell made the scopes for Marlin, but I can't confirm that. They are decent scopes for the era but Bushnell also had a better reputation then.
