I still use copies of my original -A1 25M battlesight zero target from Basic training (1986,) so that would have been for the 55grn bullet. With that bullet, you have even- or high-trajectory out to 250M, where it crosses POA and goes negative. There are newer targets for the M4 (shorter barrel) and the new ammo, but it would get you in the ballpark.

I don't hunt, so minute-of-body-cavity accuracy is what I'm looking for. To hunt, I would probably sight it in traditionally.

Thanks charlie and dwb. I do in fact shoot 55gr. soft point ammo. Am gonna try 25 meter sight in procedure to get battle zero. I will then try it at 100 yards . Should be pretty close, then I may adjust from there.

If memory serves, it's about 1.25" high at 100M... but it's been a long time... ;D
