[Combat Diver]

I've killed 3 deer with BH 5.56mm 77gr OTM from 25-50m in NC. Also harvested my last one at 200m with Federal Fusion 62gr JSP .223 Rem. Yes, in NC legal to hunt with a .22LR for deer. Only restriction is no fully auto or lights attached to guns (poaching). Still building my .308 Win AR10 rifle and would like a 6.8 SPC II upper.

I've shot a number of large hogs with my 458SOCOM. None of them have been able to stop the 300gr TTSX bullet. If anything, the SOCOM would probably be overkill for a whitetail. Maybe I'll give it a try.
