I need a new, either uncut or oversized Lock Block for my 1957 336RC
Where would I look for one ?

Hylander, not positive on this one but I think your Marlin may have to go to factory or a competent gunsmith. The locking block affects headspace and must be fitted properly, Check with Eli Chaps, Swany or Tomray on this to be sure. take care, John.

Midway has them, if you are doing it yourself go slow maintain your angles continually check for a tight fit on bearing surfaces and check headspace. That said I put a new bolt block in my 94 44 mag and it works perfect now. If you don't think you can handle the fitting go to your smith first, they hate trying to fix DIY projects. Good luck!

Thanks I'll order one up.
I'm pretty sure I can fit it myself, and I prefer doing my own work when
tool availability allows.
