My most accurate .22 is a Chinese Training rifle that is a clone of the CZ. All steel and cheesy wood. I have a rough semi inletted walnut stock that requires fitting for it that is in rjmac's que for fitting the stock. AC

I have two 527's. Both are the handy carbines, one in 7.62X39 and the other in .223. I love them both but that 7'62 will never leave me

I have the CZ 527 Youth Carbine in 30 Commie with the NECG aperture sight. It is an excellent little carbine. It's light, tiny, and accurate with plenty of power for anything in Florida. It is a real shame they stopped making them.

I miss the CZ's of old. First it was dropping the non magnum 550 for the 557. That is now pushed aside for the 600. And more recently they dropped the dandy little CRF rifle line of 527's. I know its economics and Ruger set the tone with their successful American line taking front and center stage away from the 77 but I much prefer the old school CZ rifles. I am fortunate to own a 550FS in 6.5x55 and a 527 Carbine in 7.62x39. I had them out last weekend for a trip to the range and decided to pull out the rest of the CZ clan for a family photo. 452 Training rifle and a Ringneck 20ga book ends.

Those are some nice rifles. Love those wood stocks. Seems like nowadays rifle manufacturer's compete to see who can produce the cheapest rifle. But I guess they produce what people today want. Not like true rifleman of yesteryear who admired a fine rifle. I really miss those fine wood stocks.

I refuse to buy a rifle with a plastic stock. Seems the last 10 years or so all I buy is used wooden stock rifles which I am good with. I do own one plastic stocked Ruger American but only because I won it on a raffle, couldn’t stand the pure ugliness of it so I had it dipped in a burlwood pattern covering. It is the most accurate rifle I have ever owned which is the only reason I kept it.

You can shoot into an inch at 100 yards with open sights...........wish I could. I can't even see an inch at 100yards these days.👀
I use those 3inch shoot n see circles and adjust the sights perfectly..let the circle sit on top of the post...just a hair of light under the circle and wow. Also use those ultra bright white car repair shop floor mats ...really shine and offer extreme contrast with the little shoot n see target.....and a steady rest!!! I single load the cartridges and exercise extreme patience..
