Speaking Lever guns, My 444SS is very nice and does what it should. My M94/44 is such a hunk of poop, I have virtually put it in the back of the safe and forgot about it.
Bought it in 2000. Could not get rid of the Marlin Jam. worked on it for 15 years. I give up.
Unreliable guns have no room in my world.

But my favorite is the 39A. Love that thing. Shoots great, carries easy.

Besides, I learned to shoot with a 39M, almost 60 years ago.

If you are like me it’s hard to pick one. I’d have to go with my 1894 .357 with skinner sights, Wild West trigger, and cross bolt safety delete. Just a fun gun. Although I really like my Cowboy carbines.......

My favorite Marlin is a 1978 Revelation Western Auto M200 in 30-30. My 1st hunting rifle and in perfect condition.

I would go with my 1894 CS in .357....it is an easy choice, because it is the only Marlin I own.

Probably my good ol' .30-30 AS. Not particularly handsome, but it works. Every. Single. Time. I passed down my Model 94 Winchester .30-30 to one of my sons, and kept this one (it was a Father's Day gift from the wife, years ago).
