The gun I have been speaking about in anothjer thread here is a 336 RC with gold plated trigger, saddle ring, and cowboy straight stock with 19.5" barrel. What does the "RC" stand for, and how would it differ fron the A or C? Thanks for any feedback.

The RC stands for regular carbine,compaired to the a which has a birch stock and the c took the place of the rc after 1980 which has a walnut stock.
The rc and the C are the same minus the croos bolt safty in the C
