I'm not much interested in anything coming out of Ilion until they get their act together, but I think a 460, or a 454, or a 500 (Special, if not S&W Magnum) would be fun to play with.

What I REALLY want is a 50-70 Government, but I don't see that happening. :p

I go along with PJ on calibers, but would like to add something in 7mm on the list. 7-30 Waters would be good, 8) 7mm on the 338 case would be better. :-* My 308 MX would be for sale as soon as I had one in my hands. ;) DP

Well for a lot of the reload guys on our site (and even others like me), a multiuse caliber like the .460, would be great. How can the abilty to shoot .45 LC, .454 Casull and the .460 S&W not be?!

First, I would like to see the 32 Special back in production.
The 307 and 356 would be nice but the 308 and 338 ME's takes those out of the running.

I would like to see the 40-65, and the 375 again.

Personally I always thought Marlin missed the boat when they didnt make more calibers availible when CAS was gaining so much popularity.I think they should of had the 1894 in 38-40 and made a number more availible in 32-20 and 44-40.The 1895 should have been availible in 40-65 and the 336 should have had a longer run in 38-55.Probably will never happen now. :'(

They sure gave up the 'niche' market to Miroku (they make the faux Winchester) by not offering 1894s in 38-40 and 44-40 (in larger numbers) as well as 40-65 WCF, 40-70 WCF, 45-90 WCF and 50-110 WCF in 1895 Cowboy clothes. Oh, well. . .if they're listening, I still want an 1895 Cowboy in 40-65 or 40-70 WCF and a non-rapaciously-priced 1894 in 44-40.

Nothing against the 308MX .........BUT.............. neck down the 338MX to 30 cal. & you would have something special.

And chamber the 375 JCC-Marlin of course. ;)

Marlin/remington needs to settle quality issues 1st. I'd like to see a straight slimmed downed 20" barreled .338. A straight stocked 45-70 with full magazine and slimmed stocks would be nice, with an 18" barrel. 8)

375 JDJ would be my choice. It is a bit on the long side to be a slam dunk. I did look at what it would take to build one and threw in the towel.

A .40-65 would be nice in the M1895, as would a .460 S&W in a 336. Good for the M94 would be the .480/.475L, although it would make for some real recoil.
