Would this be an good choice for my SBL

I used a fixed power 4x Weaver pistol scope on my older Guide Gun with no issues. It has 300 rounds through it including Garrett's heavy 45-70 ammo.

Expect the variable model you have listed will hold up just fine.

I had A weaver varible pistol scope on my GS. It worked ok. Too small FOV and too much eye relief. You will be better off with A IER scope. Leupold is tops.

I know that Leupold is the best, but I would like to have an scope with variable magnification
