I don"t see the need or feel the interest but I would love to refinish that stock, some nice timber used in it.

That made my stomach turn over.

Classics are classics and need to be respected. That thing is an abomination.

But there might be a good Marlin under the wood- or woods- and it could be restorable... how much did they want for it? It could be like Charlie Brown's Christmas tree- all it needs is a little love.

Well, I'll say this much for it, it is different. It's just not my cup of tea at all. The wood does look nice though. Who'd a thunk it, a one piece stock on a 39A. Strange.

Well ,someone likes it ::)
$305.00 and the reserve is met.
The receiver would have to opened.
Maybe,,,,,, keep the forearm??
$305.00 not bad for a nice 39A..

That's about the ugliest thing I have ever seen! Now all it needs are see-through mounts and it will be the ugliest!

Stubfarmer, I think your right, someone did put a lot of time into it. I"m wondering why if a mannlicker was wanted why not a two piece stock, would have been a lot easier.
