I'd go for the 36. There were fewer of them made. The prices seem a little higher than I see them around here, but if you're okay with it, get the 36. SW

Nebrhogger' thanks for the help that was my target until I looked around the gun store yesterday and saw the other two .Yeah around here I can get them usually a little cheaper than that but the full length barrels get a better price.REGULAR CARBINES IN 30-30 CAN BE HAD BETWEEN 200.OO AND 250.00 IN GOOD SHAPE.Sorry about the bold letters but I'm off to the store and to lazy to retype ,I missed a chance two weeks ago in the weekend bargain basement section of trhe paper there was a .35 Marlin for 100.00!Ya snooze ya looz ya know?Shootrj2003

I would go for the 35 first, 30-30 second and 300 last. Around here there are lots of 300's and not many takers, make it a 250 and that is a whole different story. Only reason I put 35 first is that I see lots of 30-30's and they are easy to pick up any time. Don't see anywhere near as many 35's.
