My neighbor Bill and I went to the local range today and I brought a few of my marlins to try out. This was also my first time shooting my own reloads. Here are the lonely girls all lined up to see who gets picked to dance next. Pictured from left to right 1895 gs 45/70, 1973 octagon 44 mag, 1894 ss 44 mag, 336cc 30-30 camo carbine, and Miss Belle(Liberty) my other 1894 ss 44 mag. Ain't they purty? Which one would you ask to dance if you saw em lined up at the range?

I always save the last dance for the 45-70. Come to think of it..It usually gets the first dance ticket as well.

I would have to try the 1973 octagon 44 mag first. Love the octagon barrels.

Beat me to it. Love the 44's, and the octagon barrel and vintage only make it cooler in my eyes.

I'm sure you had a blast!
