Started out the long weekend this morning with a gunshop road trip. Hit 6 of them during today's travels. Came back with five .22 rimfires.

Two Marlin 15Y's (already had 2) so now I have one of those for each of my 4 grandkid's.

Marlin 99M1 in excellent shape.

Cooey (Winchester) model 600.

Mossberg 42M in mint shape with all original sights and both mags.

Wasn't expecting to find much, wasn't really looking for anything in particular, but that seems to be the times when I end up finding stuff.
I almost grabbed an excellent Glenfield 30-30 but ended up leaving it as I really don't need another 30-30, even if the price is dirt cheap.
Really don't need anymore rimfires either, but I am a rimfire whore so it's harder to pass on those when I find them cheap.
No pics yet, will add a few later.

Okay...Here we go again. WHY do you folks insist on NOT posting pictures with your claim of new firearms? How do you expect us to believe you?You cannot tease us this way. So I will say it again. Photos or it did not happen. Again I did not make this unspoken requirement, I just help encourage it. We love our "gun porn" here on Marlin owners. : ) :bandit:

Working on it! I've been running around the state all day searching out the grave sites of some older generations of family. Found them all except I can't confirm my great grandfathers. We believe he was buried with his parents and I finally found that site, but his name is not on the stone. Now need to try and confirm with the town records.

After all that I had my grandkids to watch as well. This ole grampa just don't have the gas he used too. Those youngsters though, they just have no "off" switch. I'm toast and finally heading to my pillow. Pics will have to wait........ :)

Ok finally got some pics done. From top to bottom:
Mossberg 42M
Cooey model 600
Marlin 99M1
pair of Marlin 15Y's

The 42M is in excellent shape compared to most I've run across. Has all it's original sights, sight hood and both mags. Trigger guard is also perfect.
The Cooey is in great shape, both extractor's intact, but the wood finish is falling off. Wood is in nice shape, just needs a stripping and oiling.
The 99M1 is also in excellent shape and better than the one I already have, and I paid half as much for it!
The 15Y with the scope needs a good cleaning, some minor rust starting but should steel wool off easily.
The bottom 15Y is like brand new and still has the sticker on the bottom.

Shotgun Wood
Gun Firearm Rifle Air gun Shotgun
Gun Shotgun Wood Air gun
Gun Firearm Rifle Shotgun Trigger
