Very nice, H2OMan!

IIRC, you've been working on an M14 in one phase or another, since the old Battlerifles forum (then EOTAC, then Make Ready).

Glad to see you've stuck with it!

What's your opinion of the Aimpoint vs the EOTech? Is it apples vs oranges, or a better solution?

Thanks Jon, yep I've been in the M14 game for about 11 years now and I have had several projects.
The old BR site was great and I got some good tips from members there back in the day.

They are both great, the reticle on the tiny Micro T-1 is about 3.75 MOA and
it's fast and easy to use. I use one on my AKM and on my Marlin Guide gun.
My 'big screen' EOTech has the .308 BDC reticle... it looks like this.

*GASP!*   You mean someone actually makes a sight for we 7.62mm shooters? I may have to get the EOTech just for that. Does the BDC reticle correspond roughly to the shorter barrel ballistics?

I guess I need to do a little more research... :-[

Yup, C98.

Burris also makes a 7.62 reticle XTR scope, 1.5-6x42 with a lighted reticle. It has met mixed reviews.
