Anyone know if this sight is from any known Marlin Lever Action Models? Or any Marlin for that matter.. I seen this sight on a Lever Gun but did not know what Model that one was. It is a ramp type sight with a Dovetail..It came with a 1889 Marlin I have. I do not think it s original to that though..

It is very well machined from one piece and is very solid..Thanks

Hey there sdm -- It looks to be a first generation ramp sight for the 39a and 336 rifles. It came with a hood. Hope this helps. Best regards. Wind

Thanks, it must be a early one then as it has a dovetail machined in rather than mounting by screws. It does look very close to ones I seen for a 336 on Ebay. But the ones there mount with screws and do not have the hood slots. Maybe just a early version as you said..

I will put it up for sale in the for sale section. What do you think I should ask..20.00 shipped? Too much? Thanks
