This picture taken by a Boise Police Officer the other day. The officer has requested anonymity The place is a piece of privately held land located on the Northeast Side of Boise, that is an inspiration to many. I include myself in the count. But the picture is remarkable and worth sharing…..I hope you think so as well.

Very nice. The atmospheric conditions were just perfect for the shot.

Back in the 50s and the 60s. there was a similar well-lit cross west of Denver that could be viewed from a long distance away. I even saw it once from a DC 8 airliner flying over the area at 30,000 ASL or there about.

That Cross was up by Buffalo Bills grave site. Haven’t been by there in couple years. I’ll have to ask my daughter if it’s still there.

I visited Buffalo Bills grave back in 1978. I don't remember a cross, but it might have been there. I do remember that awesome Cody museum. Even at my young age of twenty five, I had a deep appreciation of what I was looking at. Might have to get back out there.

What's this have to do with law enforcement?

RP
Pick your poison, a Boise police officer took the picture, Wild Bill was a sheriff, Buffalo Bill had a wild west show that I'm sure some law enforcement saw at some point. Lots to loosely do with law enforcement! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
