My .357 Magnum Lee Loader got me started in reloading. It came with the flaring/crimping tool (arrow). That little tool next to the priming tool is the primer pocket cleaning tool.

I need to clean and oil these tools pronto.

The weird part of Lee not including the flaring tool in later kits is the fact that you still need a case flare to seat jacketed bullets, too. You certainly don't want the case mouth to shave gilding metal off the base of the bullet, or you don't want to buckle the case while trying to seat. .

In a pinch, a guy can make a flaring tool from hardwood, metal plumb bob, or carefully use a needlenose pliers to flare the case mouth.

I used a pocket knife to lightly chamfer the inside case mouth. Seemed to work well enough.
