I am back after an eeeeeeeeeextended holiday!
It was bliss!
(lots of sunshine, sea, fresh air and hardly any connectivity........ no TV , trulely wonderful)

Can't believe it is nearly a year ago since I visited Navajo, man time flies!
All the very best to all y'all for 2018. May it be a super fine year. (...a little belated, I know!)

I dunno I go away for a week or so yall shift the goal posts on a bloke, took me a couple of pages to realise I was looking at a dead thread.

Anyhow I hope yall had a good Christmas and that this year is as good or better than the last.

Has anyone heard from Brother Knothead, now there's a bloke that could do with having a better one this year,
all the best for 2018 Randy, we are all thinking of brother, sure would be good to hear back on here again.

35 Rem Adv 1V roll on.

Well-
I got my 28X14 building put in out back yesterday...
Now me and Buddy can get ready to move in.
Gonna hang all my dead critters on the wall out there...
and piddle with guns and leather while I
listen to Waylon Jennings music and watch cartoons
and re-runs of Married With Children.
Gotta wire in first...
Anyways- so we got a gun show coming up
this weekend...should I stay or should I go?
Well...I decided I was gonna try to wire my new clubhouse out back.
So I'm gonna go try to be productive today.
Me and Buddy is headed out there.
Griff, hold down the fort.
Hey Nav' , I'm dying to see your new setup man!
Share with a picture post - is this going to be your "man-spot" / workshop / shop / hide-out?
Did you ever apply for those trading licenses?
Where was it erected, out back at the camp site, doggie parlour & shop or down by your folks....near the barn?
Is it of wood construction or similar to your container setup?
C'mon bud I need a mental picture at least!
&
How is the non-electrical bush buggy going?
How is your dad?

Boy I have been out of town for too long!

Wow brother, that is fantastic ...... I sure did miss it!
Did you shoot it from your "executive suite" next door - downhill toward the feeder?
I'll take a bet it came from behind that clump of trees just below the feeder ........:alberteinstein: ...... to the left looking down ...dang! (or should that be ) ... bang!
Did I count correctly ~ 9'er.
What rifle did you use?
Dang man, that is nice!
Congratulations

It's out back of the house, on the side where the campsite is.
I have also built an awning against the house on that side since
ya'll was here.
The new side X side is awesome. I reccomend one to anybody
the even thinks they could use it.
I have installed a winch, radio and lights since I got it and my
bumpers came in yesterday...as well as a 32" LED light bar to
go on top.
It is one heck of a machine.
The new building is going to have a bathroom and everything.
I'm going to hang the springbuck hide you gave me up out there.
It will be all of the above.
It is like a little cabin, and it's wood with a metal roof.
I passed on the gun selling license deal.
Dad is taking radiation treatments 5 days a week and
it's wearing him down pretty bad.
He don't have any energy at all.
Hopefully once this is done he will somewhat recover.
He hunted very little this year, but he did
kill a decent buck from the back patio of
the house down there.
I moved a feeder down there so he could
basically hunt from his house.

Freezing Rain here snow is moving in now.
I was supposed to run to a few docs apointments but saw the ice and canceled.
No point dying trying to go to a pre op interview.
Warm and sultry here, high humidity,no wind, no shirt, bare foot, crickets chirping, cicadas screeching, small Frogs singing their love songs and the flying foxes whistling their fruity songs ~ real Africa tonight....time for a swim, some Robbie Robertson and a double single with lots of ice!
Good night!

Hello everyone! It's good to be back. Did some work on the house, and had to pack up the computer to keep the dust out. These things always take longer than you think they will.

Happy Birthday Bob!

Still working on the new building a little at a time.
Having some balance issues and had a siezure yesterday...
Trying to talk myself into going to the gun show.
They changed up my meds again because my neck
and back pain has got real bad, and now I don't
have much of an appetite.
We bought a generator last week and I realized when we
got home I couldn't unload it...I won't ask Dad, he's
got enough problems.
So it's been in the back of the tahoe all this time...
I guess I should call my son.
I've tried twice but I can't get it out of there without
just letting it hit the ground and I figure it will
bend it up or break something.
Dangit.
Dang brother, I wish I could pop over to lend you a hand.
I'm sure you son will stop by if you call on him.
I had mine help me on Saturday fell a massive tree in my garden - he is only 14 and still full of beautiful "plastic" muscles, but man he was a great help. Really strong for his age I must say! It was 36 deg C and the humidity was a killer. He stuck it out though.
He also enjoyed it and have a few cuts and bruises he was bragging about ~ you must call your son when you need him bud, Shooter will be delighted to help his ol' man, I'm sure! Can't you call on your nephew (the ex-soldier) ..... the one I met at the shindig? He is in the area too isn't he? I forget his name right now ......getting old too!:hmmmm2: Bill next door, I'm sure he'd be willing too?

C'mon brother we're all falling over backwards slowly but surely, just ask.

Oh, I forgot to tell y'all-

I did go to the gun show yesterday. I wound up with another
hand made damascus/bone knife by a maker here in Texas...
a beautiful turqoise bracelet for Leynie and a Winchester 92
in 44 Mag. Its a 16" saddle ring version.
Has a beautiful bore on it.
I beat the guy up pretty bad because it has a few minor cosmetic
flaws and the saddle ring was missing.
I didn't tell him I had one at home in a drawer...LOL.
Good going Nav' ...... I hope Buddy had a good time too!
Did Krystal wait it out or did she go around with you?
How is "little" Leynie?

Have any of yall been watching Better Late Than Never?
I hate to say it but i can not stop watching it.
George Foreman Terry Bradshaw Henry Winkler and William Shatner.
Those guys are nuts but fun to watch.
Hey MBW, do you ever sleep?
I also enjoy BLTN. I do not watch a lot of TV, but when I stumble upon those three I sit down for a bit.
Truly nuts, spot on!

I get a few hours then i crash about every third or fourth day.
I feel a little better. Need to find a different medicine combo. But that is a long story.
Yup, thought as much. You always seem to be about when I am here!
Is it just the way you are put together, your job or because of your medical condition?
Your in the Kansas City area, near KG right?
(If it is too private, just tell me to take a hike bud!)

I wonder if Tim needed gloves today...
I'd hate to be turning wrenches in this.
It's only up to 22* and high-noon here.
I was gonna run some wire and work on
the new club-house but though better of it.

But I did manage to get the dang new generator
out of the car. Me and Momma got it on the ground
under the car-port. She's pretty stout, Man.
Only woman I ever figured could whoop me in
a straight-up fist fight. No lie.
True love right there!
