We've been doing that for quite some time here in SC, all over the place.

I've been on quite a few hawg hunts where the kills went to the Boys Farm in Newberry. I know all sorts of game are constantly being donated there ... and we too have too darn many feral pigs running around.

I think this is a brilliant solution to the hog problem in Texas. I love hunting hogs, but there are more effective and practical ways to get rid them.

I was told by a fish and game guy in AZ when I lived there, that they used to take the road kill deer to the homeless shelters. One time some maggot getting a free meal said it made him sick and sued. One guy out of who knows how many that ate it, ruined the whole thing so now they just drag them into the desert.
