Jeff, what is the rear barrel sight? Been thinking of getting one of those for my 38-55 CB so I don't have to drill the tang on that girl, for some long range shooting. How do you like like it? DP

Never seen one ,wasn't looking but the short barrel never look right to me

DP - just a flip up ladder sight I found in grandfather's box, which included a bunch of Dad's odds and ends. I looked at the one on my 94Win and it's very different. A bit taller and calibrated differently. It could be off one of the mil-surps that got sporterized - that's my best guess. It fit the dovetail fine and simply works for me. I haven't had it out to see how it runs with my handloads, but sure to be a blast and zero investment. The peep is a Williams FP I got from Kid Sopris a while back. HTH
