Texan Edition Swivels

Hello all, quick question about my 336c. I'm still learning about the gun, but from what I understand I have a Texan edition, seeing that it has a straight stock and lever. I'd like install a sturdy sling, but not too sure where to look. There aren't any swivels on it as of right now. Just a regular band, and a black and white circle on the butt where a stud would go. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Don't mount a stud in the "bullseye" hole because thats an amateur mistake. Thats the Marlin trademark and the hole is usually too large for the stud. Mount it just aft of there. You'll need two drill bits, one for the shank hole and the other larger bit can make a countersunk hole for the stud head. You can order a front band with a sling stud. Sometimes in the older ones you might have to do a touch of sanding to get the new band to slide on that last bit where it seats. If you do it in the right spot it won't be noticible because its under the band. I've done several of these.
It's a 336 R.C. 30-30 with a straight grip, gold trigger and I believe a 20" barrel.

Thank you sir I appreciate it.
I hate to be that guy, but could anyone point me to a link for a front band with a swivel stud for this particular rifle? Im have a hell of a time finding one. I'm starting to see how many variations of this model there actually are. Do I need to get more specific with this gun, such as manufacture date etc...
You'd think they would have a picture after 45 years. ;D
Typically, the rear stud should be about two inches from the toe of the stock.
