I think it's time we come up with a logo for OUR team!!!

My opinion is that OUR logo should be made simple so it can be easily used on something like... lets say maybe some leather or hats or something like that.. 8)

I played around on the internet and came up with a few logos myself, but I'm not going to pay to have it processed..
Do any of you guys or gals have the graphic design software to get this done?

Rowdy brought up a good point yesterday regarding the team challenge postal match..
"There is NO 'I' in 'Team'!!!" (Although my spelling is poor, even I know that)

My point is.
This is OUR team not MINE!!!

Feel free to share your ideas, don't be afraid to get more involved!!!

So, with that said ......Who wants to take charge of this logo project??? ;D

Thank you,
Scott :)

Whats software? ??? ;D I might have a pair in my drawer! ;) I don't think you'd want em though. Kinda worn out! ;)

That's our Mainecat. Always takin it to the next level!
Just use the bottom of a cartridge that sez 45-70 on the top
and photo shop Marlin Owners Forum on the bottom.
I'd like to see the logo (whatever it ends up to be) done in a challenge coin. It would be nice to have a set of coins from all of the teams.
I have actually been working on an idea for a T shirt I want made, should find it and put it up see what you all think. Although I should get around to actually joining the team. I have the team cap 8)
"45-70" If I Can't Put It There, I'll Shoot It There !!!!
How about a head-on view of a buffalo with a couple of crossed lances behind it? Maybe the headstamp below the buffalo? It would speak to the history of the cartridge as both a staple of the buffalo hunter and the lances could represent it's military history, incl. at Little Big Horn?
How about the cartridge itself? It is pretty impresive looking!
Pard
Your on to something as long as the case doesn't say Rem or Win. on it. :)

I would think sabres would be more appropriate than lances, but that is just my humble opinion. Or considering we are talking 45/70 a pair of crossed rifles say a 1863 Springfield Carbine and a Marlin Guide Gun? This would represent the history of the round.
I do know several graphic design guys that can do the job. Let me know your ideas and if I should make contact with them. They can design a coin.
sharps says 45-70 to me...

i did the team 444 logo, let me see what i can do
MacGregor,

I'm liking it!!! 8)
I use CCI primers too!!! ;)
Keep up the good work!!! :)

Thank you!!! :)
how about a hat or lapel pin of that image of the 45.70 case? I know a company who does these with extremely good detail. The dies cost about $200 to get started. It can be done with a bright brass finish or a slightly tarnished one.

here's a start

modified it a bit, added some guide guns for decoration and enhanced the url of the website to show up a bit better..

looking at challenge coins and pins, in addition to t-shirts and such
I like the Guide Guns on it, great touch!
I like it with the rifles, but one of them being a needle gun would be even better!
