I would think sabres would be more appropriate than lances, but that is just my humble opinion. Or considering we are talking 45/70 a pair of crossed rifles say a 1863 Springfield Carbine and a Marlin Guide Gun? This would represent the history of the round.BEACON said:How about a head-on view of a buffalo with a couple of crossed lances behind it? Maybe the headstamp below the buffalo? It would speak to the history of the cartridge as both a staple of the buffalo hunter and the lances could represent it's military history, incl. at Little Big Horn?

may be able to get pins doneto order without startup/die costs, let me check on it.Theleatherman said:how about a hat or lapel pin of that image of the 45.70 case? I know a company who does these with extremely good detail. The dies cost about $200 to get started. It can be done with a bright brass finish or a slightly tarnished one.
modified it a bit, added some guide guns for decoration and enhanced the url of the website to show up a bit better..MacGregor said:here's a start
