Here are some pics from a hike I went on today. 5.6 miles round trip. Started at 8:30 am and 82 degrees. Finished at 12:30 and 96 degrees.

Somewhere in this picture is the actual trail:

A lizard along the way:

A couple of Lake Mohave:

Hiked through some hot springs on the return path: Some people that were there measured the water temperature in the top pool at 111 degrees. It definately felt like it:

Waterfall between pools:

Desert sheep:

Petroglyphs:

Aaaah, beautiful pics! You live where the sun shines! :(

I'm forgetting what the sun looks like up here, and I think I'd faint if I was taking a hike in 96 degree weather!

So you gotta climb that ladder to sit in the hot springs?

The upper pool (thought I'd need a tetnus (sp?) shot after climbing that rusty ladder!

Me standing in the upper pool (bad pic). The S&W .38 special I had strapped to my ankle liked the bath! Wonder if the ammo is still good?

Water depth was just to the top of my knees.

96 degrees isn't to bad, even 111 degrees is livable, last summer we had 10 days in a row that went past 115 degrees
