Thanks Swany-I was thinking about sending you a PM on the stock as I figured you would know. I looked up part #1136850 at Numrich under 1894 Century LDT. but when I brought up the pix it had 1897 on the pix. I sort of thought it may fit both rifles because of that but wasn't sure. I am thinking of ordering one for a 1894 conversion from SG to PG. Thanks Hunter

All the stocks will fit either PG or SG tangs and such are the same. Some of the older stuff is different lengths but pretty much since the Model 36 sizes have been close though until CNC machining came to Marlin a lot of hand fitting was still done back when. Good luck on your project, I've oft wondered about a fella like Tim at Skinner sights or Wisners making after market parts if a PG triggerplate for the 1894 would make them a nice profit and face it look at Mule Loops making levers for the larger hands not a big leap to know they could make 1894 levers in PG form. Oh well, I think there would be a market for it.
