Nice bird and good looking camo on the shotgun.
The shotgun is a Mossberg Ulti-Mag I bought back in 1992. Have killed a few pheasants with it in Iowa and South Dakota, and a smattering of waterfowl, but the primary use is turkey.

Killed this bird this morning in Highland County OH (30 yards from where I shot the buck in my avatar pic). Now, I know one doesn’t NEED to shoot a 3.5” 12 gauge shell to kill a turkey - but it sure does whack ‘em!
Problem is that it “whacks” you about as hard as that gobbler! Nice bird!

Very nicel;y done. Some great eating there. I love hunting those gobblers and calling them in. People keep saying "dumb turkeys" but they are anything but.

I never really was interested in hunting, but I would definitely like to try a turkey hunt someday...congrats!
