so im not actually a Marlin Owner, i was looking for info on a lever action and i came across this site and read a bunch of posts, i guess this marlinitis yall speak of is contagious through indirect contact because i cant wait to purchase my first 336 and join in on some hunts/gatherings. im a South florida (WPB) implant originally from CT..i have not been in the shooting sports to long and have never hunted anything to speak of (plucked a few squirrels and birds with pellet guns in my childhood/teenage years) I'm now in my late 20's but now i guess is a better time than later to start hunting. ill be sure to post pics of my first mistress when i find her. Looking forward to getting to know some like minded and enjoy the sport.

The fact that you do not actually own a Marlin should not be a factor! That fact that you are interested in getting into shooting/hunting activities and like the Marlin 336 puts you on common ground with most of us anyhow!

i am a gun owner just not a marlin owner.. as of now i own a savage model 64 in 22LR and a beretta 9000s chambered in 9mm so im not completly oblivious to firearms but im no pro by any means
