As a member here for a while and an Industry Partner myself "Muleloops Custom Levers." I can assure you Andy will deliver. I can also tell you shipping on Skinner sights is usually fairly quick. I do know some of the new sights he is making is taking a little longer, not sure exactly which one you ordered.

I have emailed Andy and have personally talked with him on the phone. I have never had to wait. He called me back within five minutes on his cell phone. He's great to work with.

I ordered a front and rear set for my 1895G the 2nd day of Feb. and haven't received it yet. I emailed them 2-18 and received a reply quickly that it should ship the following Monday, but haven't gotten it yet. I am also wondering what's up.

Looks like a couple of my longer sight deliverys are anxiously waiting.

Sorry for the delays. The 39 sights (I just came from the shop) will be shipping in the morning. I just finished the shop work on them and will be engraving them in a few moments. Then packaging and they will ship in the AM.

Same with 95/336 Standard sights. Finished the final stages on a few of them today and they will ship in the AM.

Front sights are almost always a hold up, not always but they can be. Front sights are almost all custom made items, one at a time so I work on them between other runs of sights to save machine down time.

Cowboydave, I'm not sure which sight is yours, but if its a standard set of sights it should have b een shipped a week ago. Email me and I'll make sure its gone out.

Reece, no worries, the 39's are done.

I've posted some shipping time info at the Skinner Sight forum in a sticky.

Sales have been good, especially the newer models we brought out in Dec. and Jan. (Tacticals and Express sights)

Most orders are still shipping very timely for what are truly hand made sights.

Ok... Back to work for me... Please email me if you have any questions!

THANKS!!!

Well, I have to say that I ordered a rear barrel Peep site for my New Rossi R92 SS 357 octagon barrel using Paypal and had it in hand in 1.5 weeks. I liked the Peep so much that I ordered the remaining 4 apertures. I Paypaled it to Skinner last thursday and got it yesterday. Counting the ordering day, only 5 days to in hand !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't have gotten it fast even if I lived in his town. I think his products and shipping times are the best in the industry. I've order with other sellers on this site which I shall not name and shipping took a month. My hat's off to Skinner. Again, Great Product and Great Shipping !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey Frank...

Glad we were able to get them out to you quickly! Most of our orders do ship very timely, we are having a few that linger in the order bin longer than I'm happy about. I'm working at getting work flow more streamlined and bringing some new equipment on board to keep times shorter and quality even better. We always want to ship the very best sights to our customers and there is quite a bit of hand fitting and finishing in each one so occasionally something does hold them up a bit.

Reece, I did ship your sight this morning and forwarded on the Email response that I had sent after your first email, perhaps it was lost in your spam filter or ??? but please know we did respond when you wrote.

Phone calls.... I love talking to my customers. Why??? THEY ARE ALL SHOOTERS !!! However... When the machines are running its difficult to hear, let alone answer the phone. Please leave a message and I will TRY to get back to you. It may take a bit but I will try. Emails are the best since I can answer them when I'm out of the shop and by that time it may be too late for a return call.

Dave, thanks for the follow up Email, yep, it was front sights and your Sight also shipped this morning!

Thanks all! We love making sights for YOU! Keep us posted in the SKINNER SIGHT Forum how they are working for you.

Now... Back to work!

Andy, don't take any of that personally, you know how people just like to complain. Before the internet they just grumbled around to themselves, now they post it for all to see! We know you are top notch and have customer service second to none. Just wanted you to know that!

ALL GOOD! Actually, I dont take it personally as in defeat, but I do really take the customer experience into account since they all need and want the very best sight we can ship them as soon as we can get it to them!

I've been in contact with both who had questions and the interaction was very warm and building.

Youare correct about the internet however... 100 positive evaluations and one Negative, guess which one will get the most hits? :)

I've made a few other mistakes in the past 7 months that folks have contacted me directly and let us fix it without making them public. OoPS.. Thanks for that! Dr. Skinner and I are still in close contact and he is always very helpful and encouraging.

Thanks Halwg!

Meanwhile, We will keep doing everything we know how to keep our Customer service the best we can.

Andy,
Just wanted to say thanks. I ordered standard skinner sight for my 1894 in stainless a couple weeks ago, they shipped a couple days after order and got to me a couple days later. No complaints here at all, haven't installed yet, probably will tonight. Can't wait to try them out sometime soon... :D
One reason I decided to go with Skinners is all of the communcation that I've seen on the board from Andy. Getting info straight from the man in charge goes a long way in my book.
