Made in 1970, 24" barrel micro-groove rifling, first variation stock, weighs in at 7.5lbs, 42.5" overall length, holds 4 rounds in the mag + one in the chamber for a total of 5 rounds. The model designation is simply 444, in 1971 things changed some. Yours is a centennial model made with the medallion insert commemorating Marlins 100th year of business. MY 444,just got it finished.Started with a 22 inch barrel with pretty beat up stocks.cut the barrel to 17 inches,refinished the stocks,added a new recoil pad and XS sights.Nothing fancy but i like it.The short barreled 444 disease has bit me hard!
