Last two weeks found me unable to control my thirst for a new hunting handgun.
These are my two latest acquisitions.
A Ruger Super Redkawk 9.5" barrel with a nice red dot sight.
The next one I'm really proud of.
A pre lock S&W 629-1 1 Of 5000.
Unfluted cylinder full lug hand cannon with box and all original papers tools etc.....
Anybody love these as much as I do?

These are my shooters. I have killed several deer with my old 3 screw SBH. I have never shot a deer with a 29. I have killed them with my 25's, 45 Colt. I have never killed a deer with a 44 carbine either. I probably will since they are legal in Ohio but it's hard for me to lay down the old 35 when I have the choice.

Love? Well, let's just say that 629 has me a little jealous. Well, maybe a tad more than just a little. Ok, maybe just a little more than a tad more I suppose, but I wouldn't call it love. Well, maybe...

The Super Redhawk is my all time favorite revolver. I had a 629 classic with the full under lug back in the 90's that I put a couple thousand rounds through it is a very nice hand cannon indeed.
