Hey guys, I got a question regarding Savage barrels. How good are the Savage Stainless barrels? Accuracy wise? Just curious if they are worth buying, or just go aftermarket. Anyone shooting or has shot a stock savage stainless barrel, looking for under MOA.

Well, uhhhh, do they come in something besides stainless?? ;D ;D

Three stainless VLP's and one 10MLII, here. They are shooters. All less
than MOA.

Saage Barrels are very well made Stanless steel and 4140 barrels You will have to trim the breach on them to use them on the marlin X guns DD

I came across a savage Stainless Barrel, Heavy Sporter, .270 Winchester, 24", Stainless, 1.050" Dia. Threads. Its stated as NEW. I was wondering the quality of savage barrels, and the accuracy...

How Much Money Trail rider ? The Savage sporter seen to shoot 1.00 MOA @100 Yards or better . Round Count will determan price SS new take off 0 to low roung count barrels in 270 would range from 95.00 to 135.00 a new Custom would be 225.00 any contor to 26 inch Hope this helps
