Can't have nu-metal without some Korn.

Mudvayne was one of those bands that their songs were either duds, or they were great. That is a great one by them.

I consider Damageplan nu-metal, even considering who it involves.

Because of the masks, shock value, and having an entire army of members, Slipknot never got the credit they deserve for the depth present in their lyrics IMHO.

Damageplan was awesome and the direction they were heading in was great.
When Hell Yeah was recording a new album one of the guys suggested doing this cover song. Vinnie Paul told them that Damageplan was going to do that for their second album and he still had Dimes guitar riffs that he had started laying down for it so here is Dime playing on a Hell Yeah cover of Phil Collins.

!!!!Beware some of these songs have explicit lyrics!!!!
I don't think Perfect Circle counts towards the theme.
I like 'em just don't consider them metal by any means.

They are welcome here too... as long as it's not girly modern rock. Was listening to Led Zep an hour or so ago.

SO here's a puzzler for ya - Damn Yankees, yea or nay? ;)

Nay. Some good songs. But never any that stuck with me as great. IMHO. How about Godsmack? Any opinion?
