I am now officially a fan of using rifle bullets in the 357 mag carbines. I have been struggling with my B92 (Yeah I know it's not a Marlin but it still applies) for years now. I could get it to shoot lights out with pistol bullets and black powder, but no matter what I tried it wouldn't shoot for beans with smokeless. I did well in a few silhouette matches with 158s and black, but wanted the option of smokeless too. So, I finally tried some Ranch Dog 190s loaded to 1200 fps over AA#5. No gas checks. Presto! Near MOA groups off the bench, and today I won the pistol caliber silo match with a 31 in high winds. Hey, that's more like it! The little carbine finally shoots, thanks to Ranch Dog. And if his new 175 shoots as well as the 190 and also allows loading the magazine he's really going to have a winner.
