An active thread reference a CCW 'citizen' assisting LE in a recent shootout, brought the idea to me that a lot of us retired LE's probably still think of ourselves as an available asset to the kids on the street. ...........I'm guilty. I will find myself many times passing a car stop at night, or spot an officer on foot where the possible odds just don't work. How many times have we drove around the block and set up in a gas station or convenience store parking lot waiting for the 'backing' unit, or walked right up near a contact in a store parking lot fumbling with our keys as we try to asses that big dude seemingly agitated while talking to that not so big female officer. ....................say da truth now! ;D Any bruises? :vroam:
