Hold me back!

What were they thinking???
This is the part where the "New" CEO of the company flies in every mid to upper level manager, locks the doors and goes berserk for 45 minutes without taking a breath. Severance checks are handed to a very large chunk and security escorts them out of the building without so much as a "see you later". Scorched Earth would not describe my reaction.

Maybe they could send a copy to Gaston Glock to see if he can do anything with it.

There will definitely not be one of these in my safe. I was a bit curious at first but somewhat sceptical of remingtons marketing claims. I feel sorry for my buddy who already has one pre ordered.

It sounds to me like they issued it without finishing R&D.

Now, of course I'm guessing but it sounds like the springs they are using are too light. Like maybe a marketing person decided to go with the lightest springs possible to enhance the easy slide pull.

It's a shame because I like this little pistol.

Give Remington a few years and maybe they'll get it right. :flute:

Maybe Remington thinks they are Microsoft and wants us to Beta test their
guns for them? :shot:

Remember the movie Schindler's List? There was a line that went something like, "you'll never see another working shell leave this factory again". I believe that's what we have here.

When I first saw this new gun, I *Wanted* to like it, and noted its similarity to the early model 51. But after watching this video, I'm hanging onto my revolvers (and probably buying more wheel guns). At least my older Remingotn 870 still goes bang every time.

My sentiments exactly.
