As a new Marlin owner, I'm looking for recommendations for reading materials pertaining to our guns. Does anyone have some favorites ?I'm interested in technical, historical even picture books as well as where you found them. Seems like Amazon has a ton of stuff for Winchesters but very few for Marlins.
thanks in advance

I've got a collection of old 'gun digest' and 'stogers' books, from the 50's to present!!!

They're not all about Marlin's of course, but there are quite a few interesting articles about them.

I've had most of these since I was a kid and now keep them right next to the bed!!
I read them at night after 'Marlin Owner's' time is over.. ;)

"Marlin Firearms: A History of the Guns and the Company That Made Them" by William S. Brophy is a very comprehensive and informative book, and should keep you occupied for a while. It is available on Amazon.

Have any of you fellas heard of the take down books by Radocy? I've seen them on eBay but didn't know if they're worth anything. The Marlin History book looks interesting but is a bit pricy on Amazon right now. Thanks for the info so far, I'm glad to be part of the MO, I'll do my best to earn my spot. ;D
