PSA Midway no Hazmat

Yep! That used to get you 3000 primers and 4# of powder and stayed that way pretty close for quite a while.

I can't believe the high cost of powder and primers these days. But I have a feeling it will be much worse in 5 years, so you might as well buy now if you need it now...

If we get a decent POTUS next election I believe we'll see the prices dwindle down to reality but....IF....we don't....I'm afraid your prediction will come true.

I took advantage of the no hazmat fee myself

Nothing is free in these "sales" gimmicks..It is added in somewhere, but it is a good marketing ploy anyway,LOL

For free HazMat to be of benefit, Midway first has to have in stock the primers and powder I need. I've had stuff on my wish list for months, and it has been out of stock at Midway.

I didn't even know this promo was happening, but yesterday I received an "in-stock" email for some VV powder at $ 58 / lb, which is high but not crazy high for VV these days. Bought the limit of 5, which came out to $ 290 + tax and shipping was $ 348 out the door and an hour later I received an email with a tracking # saying my order was shipped! I thought gee that doesn't seem right. Now I know why.

Ever since the middle of the chinese pandemic, the media has been reporting on the "supply chain" disruptions but I have not had any delays or interruptions on anything I've ordered since then. Makes a person wonder that if you pay enough for what you buy the local mafia will allow your order to proceed.

Anytime you can shed hazmat and shipping it makes a deal tolerable..

The prices have been steadily climbing no matter who was in office....its not a POTUS problem,,its a greed problem

Not saying that the POTUS has any direct effect. Saying that the country's confidence in the economy is greatly enhanced when there is a pro business and commerce person in the WH & in that prices will stabilize and won't climb out of control like they are now with the totalitarian regime that's currently installed.
