I found a 2001 1895G with the 5/2 ported barrel yesterday and made it mine. It’s in great condition and it came with 73 rounds of factory loaded 300 grain ammo (20 RP, 53 Win), a leather lace up shell carrier, a leather sling, a Redfield/Leupold one piece base w/rings, and an inexpensive 2-7x40 scope.
Please forgive me, but I just wanted to show it off a bit. This is my 2nd GG, my other is a 2005 manufacture.

Nice. Traded a revolver for the same year/model a while back.

I have a ported GG I bought new in 2000, and the Buffalo Bore rounds I use for hunting are...distracting. Is a non-ported barrel really that much quieter?
