Our oldest daughter Amanda who is 30, married and has a wonderful 3 yr. old son has been diagnosed with a rare type of carcinoma
which is stage 4. It has spread to her bones but thus far has not affected any of her major organs. She meets today with
a Dr. Weiss at UVA Med. Center to discuss the beginning of chemo. It seems to have begun fairly recently per their
test results but is fast spreading. The doctor has said they plan to hit it hard and fast with chemo so I would imagine she'll
have some rough sledding ahead. The plusses are that doctors say the type responds well to chemo and she's young and
healthy.
Please add her to your prayer chains and lift her and her family daily in your prayers.
I'll keep you posted in coming weeks.
