I used to smoke a bowl daily on my pipe. Then, I got assigned to another ship and the CO was a real health nut. Completely against any type of tobacco products and I didn't want to catch the grief or take a hit on my evaluation report. So, I put them in a safe place... and I seem to have forgotten where that place was. I had some beautiful meerschaums that I enjoyed... but my favorite was a Kaywoodie Calabash from the 1930's. Second place went to a Kirsten that I picked up during a tour of duty in Washington State. I used to buy my tobacco from the Old Virginia Tobacco Company. They made a blend called Shiloh that I really enjoyed. I may have to scour the house this weekend to see if I can't locate them again. It's been so long that any residue has probably turned to hardened tar.
Let’s hear about your favorite cigars. I like A. Fuente Gran Reserve (Natural) with Connecticut wrapper, Giespert Intenso and for the price Don Rafael. They cover the range except for strong, which I do not care for.
