This is interesting. Sample 9x19 mm fired case supplied by the manufacturer with a recent purchase to meet People's Republic of California requirements (Apparently supplied with all examples regardless of delivery state).

Overpressure load? Defective firearm? Need more info,or a followup testfire with the same gun.

The gun is fine. Bad primer or factory load.

CBC round, made in Brazil. Probably just a thin primer cup, but it might also be a hot load, possibly even a proof load.

Do other fired rounds look normal (for a Glop)?

Kind of sad they're using foreign test ammo.

PJ,

I expected this gun to have been made in Georgia, but it says Austria. Still, it would be nice if they used American ammo considering how much of their product is bought by Americans.

We put 200+ rounds of Rem UMC 115 gr FMJ through it yesterday. Checked a hundred or so; nothing untoward, just the standard Glock firing pin/breech face impression (which is odd in its own right).
