Just got back from a 200 mile, one way, drive after picking this up. I know without pictures it didn't happen but this will have to do. Near as I can tell its one of the special run for Davidson's made in 2001. Specs are; 45 colt, 20 inch octagon barrel, smooth wood, serial number 94IV0XXX. It has the side of the receiver factory drilled and tapped for a side mounted receiver sight. The condition is new, never fired. Absolutely no wear inside or out. The serial number is under 300 out of 1000. I'm thrilled. The price was $695.00 total, out the door. Not a steal but considering the condition I'm happy as hell.
I fully intend to mount a receiver sight and considering that I have the side option as well as the top, what do you guys think. A Williams Foolproof or a Skinner Express?
