Yeah, I think Marlin should give away a hat when you buy one of their guns. That would be a good gesture on their part to say they are sorry for the problems we have been having. Of course it would be better if they could get to the point that we are not afraid to order a new gun.

Made me feel proud to own one and happy that mine was a good one from the start. I liked that XL7 .308 she was shooting too. That is not a bad bolt action for under $400.

I think somebody on the rant forum said he thought it was a JM SBL, something about not enough dovetails to be a Rem! ;D

It was filmed in 2010. Tomray said Linda Powell left FGI for Mossberg a little while ago. That may be why it was missing the custom shop second dovetail.

It must have been filmed in 2009 because they were talking about the record sow, 550 lbs., they killed a few days before and that sow was killed on March 31, 2009. Here is a picture of it.

Could have been 2009 as far as I know. Come to think of it, the year I saw noted on the channel guide would have been the first time it aired.
