Just got this in my email. A lady named Theresa Thompson spent all summer 2012 covering her 1949 Caddy with 38,249 copper pennies. She used silicone seal for the glue. The coins added over 200 lbs to the car's weight, and included an 1817 big penny and some steel pennies from WW2. Quite the project. 1949 Cadillac.jpg 1949 Cadillac a.png 1949 Cadillac b.jpg

This is like shortening a 1895g JM barrel and putting on a plastic stock. Just my opinion on a car that I always wanted and could never afford.

She probably never put just her two cents worth in... on anything!

I wonder if she has any flying pennies on the car. I have one and I think it is a 1877 but I haven't looked at it for a long time. it is silver color and has a flying eagle on it.

I am like master as far as messing with originals of old cars and guns. I like them as they were most time. In this case it could be reversed easy enough and it looks pretty nice.
