Payed for a used marlin model 88 and i get it on Tuesday after my ten day waiting period.
Is this a good gun any info would help.

Welcome to the forum! Lots of kindred souls here, full of good advice and helpful suggestions. But watch out for that Barenjager guy. He knows his stuff about those 22 rifles, but if you pay too much heed to him, you'll be in the poorhouse in NO time. Ask me how I know!

California i know its a bummer

Monkeynts, It's not that much of a bummer, you can shoot more days out of the year than anywhere else! We CAN still buy ammo from out of state, due to the effort of the NRA and a judge who invoke an injunctionagiant the new law. I've been personally been training out of state, gun selling kooks, that YOU CAN SHIP TO CALIFORNIA, ANY MARLIN MADE, so we can get these great guns with no problem. I have bought 3 rifles in the last 3 months that each seller said "no sales to California", but after I sent the DOJ rules, they sold to ME.
